Susan Haley, widowed early, turned a passion for the written word into a purpose. A mentoring with Award-winning writer Robert Delany turned into a close friendship with Rainy Day People being the heartwarming result. Susan resides and works in Sarasota on the Gulf Coast of Florida. Mr. Delany passed on shortly after the completion of the work.

Susan Klaus was born in Sarasota , Florida .  She has a thirty-year extensive career with animals and owning pet grooming shops. She is founder of the Sarasota ’s Fiesta Cat Fancier and raised Himalayan show cats. Susan lives in Myakka City , Florida , breeding and racing Thoroughbred horses. She is an artist and has written three novels.  The sequel, The Golden Harpy 11, is now available. 

 


 

Spacey the Marine is one of a series of stories about Spacey, an ordinary turtle that dreamed of wonderful adventures. In the Marine story, Spacey’s desire is to become a Marine and defend his country. The book leads its young readers through the thrills of enlistment and military life and training. Once again, Spacey lives his dream and is hailed a hero. The book is written in English and Spanish.

Jean Panero grew up in Kentucky. While attending her 25th Kentucky Derby, she was marketing her first book, Portraits in Roses, an art illustrated  book about the  Kentucky Winners, and published by McGraw Hill. Ms. Panero worked Special Events for TV and has lived in Miami , New York and the Middle East. She is currently working on a series of children's books, The adventures of Spacey The Turtle (or Spacey, The Turtlenaut, Spacey the Marine, Spacey the Firefighter, and Spacey the Teacher).

Ray Ryder began writing fiction in 2002.  He is currently the author of two novels:  The Rockwater Mountain Murders, and The Spirit of Whiskey River, both of which are available through Xlibris Publishers and all major on-line booksellers. He is currently working on a third killer book (untitled as of yet) and also has written a collection of short stories called Corridors to Christmas. (Nobody gets killed here).  In addition to writing  Ray enjoys belonging to the Sarasota Florida Fiction Writers, the Sarasota Authors Connection and the Florida Writers Association.
